How the event pipeline should work
Detect location
Use browser or manual location to determine the country and city bucket to query.
Collect sources
Pull from approved event feeds, studio calendars, and teacher submissions that are relevant to that location.
Normalize and dedupe
Convert everything into one event schema, remove duplicates, and score event quality.
Store by region
Persist events by country and city so the same-location audience can reuse the curated list quickly.
Get involved
Teachers and organizers can submit events here. Logged-in users create a row in the event submissions table, which can later be reviewed and promoted into the location-based event listings table.
