Vinyasa Yoga
Breath meets movement in a dynamic, creative flow.
About Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa (often called 'flow') links breath with movement through sequences that typically change class to class. The pace is generally quicker than Hatha and feels like a moving meditation when well-taught. Vinyasa is the most widely offered class format in modern Western studios.

History & Origins
'Vinyasa' is a Sanskrit term associated with purposeful placement and sequence. As a modern class label it emerged from Ashtanga lineages in the 1980sβ90s and became the dominant studio format globally. Teachers such as Shiva Rea and Bryan Kest shaped its evolution into a creative, breath-led discipline distinct from any single fixed sequence.
